Maybe this is of some interest, it is not often that the name Small appears

with the old Romany names but here we see in the 1530s where a Small was

murdered by the Faas in Scotland, this is not proof that the Small mentioned

was a Romany but further down you will see that a Smalley was called an

Egyptian and further down again where a payment was made to a Rob Smalley.
