From the editor Janet Keet-black :-

"Chris Penfold Brown's poetry is written from her life's experiences, a record of her memories of the travelling life she led, first as a child and then as a young woman, with her parents and sisters. The standards she was brought up with, and the love and loyalty she has for her family and late parents, is woven through her poems and real life stories. Chris is first cousin to the late Eli Frankham, 'Romany poet', and is herself deserving of that title."

It is very fitting that Chris's late mother Alice Penfol also appears on this website on the Romany Singer's page
